Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Itaca platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use the platform.

2. Description of the Service

Itaca offers artificial intelligence and clinical organization tools for healthcare professionals in Latin America. The platform allows consultations to be recorded, clinical notes to be generated, patients to be managed and automated medical analysis to be performed.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features, you must create an account with accurate and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the platform ethically, legally and in accordance with your professional practice. Use for fraudulent purposes, impersonation, false data, or to store information not related to clinical practice is prohibited.

5. Third Party Services

Itaca may integrate with third party services such as payment processors (e.g. Stripe) or authentication systems. Use of these services is subject to their own terms and conditions.

6. Integration with Google services

When the user connects their Google account with Itaca, access is requested via official Google APIs, including:

• Google Calendar API: to read, create or update calendar events related to medical consultations within the platform.
• Google People API: to access basic contact information (such as name, email and telephone) in order to enrich the patient's profile and facilitate linkage to clinical records.

This access is used exclusively for functions within the Itaca platform. We do not access other Google services or share this information with third parties.

The user can revoke access at any time from their Google account or from their Itaca account settings.

7. Account Cancellation and Deletion

You may cancel your account at any time. By doing so, the stored information will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy, unless there is a legal obligation to retain it.

8. Modifications

Itaca reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. In case of substantial changes, we will notify users with reasonable notice through the registered means of contact or by notice within the platform.
