Itaca now automatically identifies the medications mentioned during the consultation and analyzes possible interactions, also using the patient's clinical history.
How does it work?
When you generate a note with Itaca, the platform detects the medications mentioned in the conversation. Then:
- It classifies them according to whether they are new, continued, suspended or modified.
- If the patient is bound, your medical history is also considered to verify possible interactions.
- The result: an automatic, contextualized analysis without the need for manual input.

How do I use it?
You can add a drug manually to simulate new combinations.
- Record a session as usual.
- Generate the clinical note.
- In the session or patient detail view:
- You will see a medication section.
- Click on "Analyze interactions" to review possible conflicts between current and past treatments.
Why is it useful?
- Detect relevant interactions without effort âš¡.
- It takes into account drugs mentioned in other prior consultationsif the patient is linked.
- Saves you time and improves patient safety.
