✍️ Note templates: customize the generated notes to your preferred format

Each physician has his or her own particular way of documenting a consultation. Some prefer the classic SOAP, others use forms designed in their hospital or institution. In order for Itaca to better suit your needs, you can now create personalized note templates.

📄 Upload your own form

With this new function you can upload a document in DOCX or PDF that represents the note structure you already use.

  • The document should be a blank form, with no actual patient data.
  • Itaca will detect the sections and convert them into a reusable template.
  • Once saved, your template will appear next to the standard notes you already know.

🎨 Customize a standard note

You can also start from one of the standard Ithaca notes (SOAP, first visit, etc.).

  • Select the note you want to use.
  • Click on Customize to modify titles, sections or fields.
  • Save the changes and you will have your own version available every time you generate a note.

🎯 Choose the template when generating your notes.

After recording and transcribing a visit, when you click on Finalize and generate noteyou can choose between:

  • Standard notes (SOAP, first visit, follow-up, etc.)
  • Your own customized templates

In this way, each note generated will follow exactly the format you prefer.

🚀 Benefit in clinical practice.

The use of templates avoids having to adapt your workflow to a generic format.

  • Facilitates integration: you can replicate the same format that your institution already requires.
  • Save time: no need to edit the note each time.
  • Improves consistency: all your notes follow the same structure.

With the personalized note templates, Itaca becomes an even more flexible assistant that respects your way of working and helps you maintain clear and professional clinical documentation.
