The quality of a clinical note depends on the fidelity of the transcription that originates it. For this reason, at Itaca we have improved the speech recognition we use, incorporating a more accurate model - based on ElevenLabs Scribe v2- to achieve transcriptions that are more faithful to the clinical consultation, even in real conversations with accents, interruptions and complex medical terminology.
Why transcription accuracy does matter
An early error in transcription propagates throughout the clinical stream:
voice → transcription → clinical note → follow-up → decision.
When the basis is inaccurate, rework occurs after the consultation: manual corrections, reinterpretations and loss of clinical time.
What improves with more accurate speech recognition
With this upgrade in Ithaca, you get:
- ✅ Greater fidelity to the actual clinical conversation, including context and nuances
- 🩺 Better capture of medical terminology, even in long consultations
- ✍️ Less manual corrections by reviewing the note
- 📄 More reliable clinical notes from the first draft
The impact is not only technical: it is operational and cognitive.
Intended for real queries
This enhancement is designed to authentic clinical conversations, We offer a wide range of services, with different accents and styles of speech common in Latin America, both in face-to-face and virtual assistance.
Accuracy that supports your clinical judgment
Itaca does not replace your clinical judgment. Its function is to capture as faithfully as possible what was said in the consultation, so that you can document and decide with better information and less administrative burden.
Because in medicine, the quality of reasoning starts with the quality of the data.
And it all starts with the voice 🎙️.
