A query can be perfectly documented.

The diagnosis, of course.
The plan, correct.
The instructions, complete.

But if the patient doesn't receive those instructions in the language they understand best, something gets lost in translation.

And it's almost always lost after the appointment, when the patient is already home and needs to remember which medication to take, what signs to watch for, or what the next step is.

What changes with the patient's preferred language

You can now indicate in which language the patient instruction note should be generated.

Currently, you can choose from:

  • English
  • English
  • Portuguese

The field is optional. If left blank, the system uses the output language set by the professional.

This means the doctor can continue working in their usual language, while the patient receives their instructions in the language that is clearest to them.

Why it matters in healthcare

Patient instructions are not an administrative detail.

They are the part of the query that the patient takes with them.

There is the care, the next steps, the recommendations, the medication changes, and the warning signs. When that information is in the correct language, it is easier for the patient to understand, remember, and share it with their caregiver.

Fewer doubts.

More clarity after the visit.

A simple example

The doctor records a visit in Spanish.

The patient, however, prefers to receive their instructions in English. If their preferred language is set to English, the patient note is generated in English.

The professional does not have to change their documentation method. The patient receives a more useful note.

That's the point.

Preferred language can also be part of the demographic block in patient questionnaires.

This way, the preference can be captured from the start along with other basic data and used later to personalize the instruction note.
